I think I'm still gonna buy Fire emblem Fates later this week but after reading all comments how the story was just as bad as awakening my expectations are pretty low. Sure it had more customization and the gameplay was more polished (really missed the speed up function in Stella glow) but both characters and story was pretty bland. I mean, I played Fire emblem awakening that so many praise but I felt that it wasn't even close. So it makes my a bit sad that it don't get the recognition it deserv and that the company went into bankruptcy. Somehow it just felt really old school - not so much politics and instead just good character progression/interaction. So the first time I beat it I felt that this was a really good game (one of the better I played on 3DS), but after the second playthrough? I'm blown away by it and I had chills all through the true final boss (not the final boss music but still one of the better tracks I have heard in a long time ). It rarely happen that I play a game twice but I wanted the true ending and all dialogues that I missed. So I bought Stella glow (EU) at the release and just finished my second playthrough.
